Ms. Kaissi is a graduate of George Washington University with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration. She is a former United States Patent and Trademark Office Biomedical Engineer Patent Examiner where she specialized in vascular devices, implantable medical devices, electrical and electromechanical stimulation, and light and thermal applications. Her experience in the prosecution of USPTO patent applications, including those related to heart monitoring, ventricular assist devices; pacing and defibrillation; dialysis and electrical stimulation; communication and telemetry devices; catheters; and battery management in implantable devices is invaluable when conducting background and prior art searches. She provides ARC IP Law clients with expert technical and invention evaluation prior to the filing of a patent application, during prosecution and thereafter.
