JOHN GOREE

TECHNOLOGY EXPERT

John Goree is a mathematician in his soul, a technologist by training, and a business professional by necessity.  He received a Master of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science degree from MIT and worked thereafter as a software developer and project manager at Hewlett-Packard.  He then refocused his career on business management and obtained a Master of Business Administration degree from UCLA; afterwards he worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company for 5 years.  Entrepreneurial adventures followed, and he co-founded two startups including a robotics company.  He has also consulted with a wide variety of technology and health care companies on business strategy and in technology development.

John has served as a technology consultant to the patent practice of ARC IP since 2015, and he assists with translating clients’ technical innovations into patent applications and claims, and with advising clients on intellectual property business strategies.

John is fluent in French, as well as in many languages understood by computers such as Java, Python, C, and Scala.
