JOHANNA LAWRENCE

PARALEGAL

Johanna Lawrence came to ARC IP LAW, PC with substantial experience as an executive assistant and marketing communications coordinator. Having started at ARC as an Executive Assistant in 2017, she gained knowledge and education and developed into the role of Paralegal in 2022. She now works as part of a team of paralegals with an emphasis on trademark portfolio management, entity maintenance assistance, and other intellectual property tasks as needed.

Johanna’s duties include preparing and filing electronic trademark applications with follow-through to registration, correspondence with the USPTO and foreign counsel, drafting assignment documents for recordation and meeting country-specific requirements, and assisting with drafting and preparing legal correspondence.

With a superior education from top-notch private schools—Sarah Lawrence College and Phillips Exeter Academy—Johanna has a liberal arts background which is well suited for her position. She possesses excellent oral and written communication skills and is detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and track extensive details. Her longevity as an employee has given her a thorough knowledge of our office operating procedures and computerized docketing systems.

Johanna holds an ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate from the University of California, San Diego, and is a member of the San Diego Paralegal Association. She was born and raised in Massachusetts.
